St. Francis Medical Center’s Department of Medicine sponsors one of the two fully approved internal medicine residency programs of the Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education. 

Residents experience direct daily clinical teaching and supervision by our full time and voluntary faculty in addition to daily intake rounds with me and the chairman of the department of medicine. 

We are proud of our graduates who have entered both clinical practice or gone on to fellowships in the internal medicine subspecialties.  Both faculty and residents conduct clinical research and extensively publish.
